Q: How are the readings completed?
A: Our readers use tarot cards primarily, which involves connecting to your energy and then shuffling and drawing out tarot cards to interpret the messages and predictions meant for you. We also use pendulum and intuition.

Q: How can you complete a reading online without seeing me?
A: Many readers are trained and skilled in providing online readings. When you communicate with a person (even if only submitting your order), there is a transfer of energy when doing this. We like to think of this as an ‘imprint’ of energy. We use this to focus on the client in question when connecting to them, which allows us to complete the reading. We also use name and date of birth.

Q: What if I book a reading to 'test' you and you get it wrong?
A: Yeah - people have tried this before, and it's absolutely pointless and a waste of money on your part. Tarot is entirely subjective and interpretive. If you book a reading under false pretences, give incorrect information, or lead the reader to believe you are in a situation that you are not - they are most likely going to completely misinterpret the card meanings for you. For example, if you buy a fertility reading and have no intention of trying to conceive in the future - what the reader interprets to be a pregnancy could actually be something completely different. Tarot readers are not psychic mediums, and no one at Emerald Sun Tarot claims to be all-seeing. We use divination tools and our intuition, skill, and the information from the client to translate the messages from our tools.

Q: Are you ever wrong?
A: Yes. Any reputable reader will tell you that readings are not always 100%. Our paths can change, and the decisions we make on a day to day basis can influence your future. Tarot is also very interpretative and it is entirely possible to misinterpret the message being given.

Q: Well, how accurate are you then?
A: Our estimation based on the feedback we do receive is around 80%. We receive constant positive testimonials across many different social media channels both publicly and privately. We highly recommend reading through our various platforms - we never hide negative reviews, we pride myself on complete transparency.

Q: Can I get a free reading?
A: Unfortunately, our readers don’t have time to do free readings on request. Gemma is the primary reader at Emerald Sun Tarot Limited, and her schedule is far too busy. She does offer free readings on occasion via social media’s, but only when advertised, not upon request. We will not respond to messages requesting readings for free.

Q: Do you accept international payments?
A: Yes, our payment merchants accept payments from most international countries.

Q: Why have I been charged $28 when the price said £20?
A: Our prices are listed in GBP, as we are a UK registered company. The price you see is Great British Pounds, the amount you are charged will have been converted to your own currency.

Q: When will I receive my reading?
A: Unless you have been emailed regarding a delay, you will receive it on the date you selected on the calendar if purchased with Gemma. If purchased with Michelle, it will be within 3 business days. We offer our employees the ability to choose their own working hours to suit their schedules. Therefore, it could be any time up until midnight that your reading is sent on the day of due delivery.

Q: Can I get a refund if my reading was inaccurate?
A: No. Our refund policy is outlined in our disclaimer and our terms and conditions, both of which must be read and agreed to prior to purchasing a reading. We do however understand that it can be disheartening for a reading not to come true; we therefore offer a free recheck (fertility readings only, and we reserve the right to withdraw these at any time) in these circumstances. This is not a usual practice, most tarot readers do not offer free rechecks and take a charge for this, but we feel it is important to offer this free of charge where possible.

Q: Do you accept Cashapp or Venmo?
A: Not at this time. We accept PayPal and most debit/credit cards via Stripe.

Q: Why does my reading look similar to someone else's?
A: We never ever recycle readings, this is highly unethical. We do, however, use our own stencils which were created by Gemma. This means that the structure of a reading may look similar, but the content will likely differ. Also, if you get the exact same card as someone else for the exact same kind of reading, this will have the same meaning for you as it does them, so in many cases these are pre-written with their meaning for the particular reading in which they are intended for. Stencils allow us to work through readings in a timely manner without having to type the same sentences repeatedly, whilst also allowing us to cater the reading to the client.

Q: How do I know you're not a fraud?
A: We are a fully registered UK company with Companies House. Our business details can be found on the Companies House register. Gemma started this business as a sole trader, and she takes great pride in putting herself on a public platform so as to remain visual, genuine, and connected with her followers. We understand that the divination business can be quite daunting as we are well aware that there are people out there who claim to be readers, only to scam customers out of money. Gemma continues to connect with customers personally via social media in both a professional and entertainment capacity, and encourages all clients to leave authentic accounts of their experience with her so that new customers can see multiple unbiased opinions of her work.

Q: If I fall pregnant earlier than you predicted, does this mean I'm going to miscarry?
A: Absolutely not. The more likely explanation is that your path simply changed - it does not foreshadow a miscarriage.

Q: Am I eligible for a free fertility recheck?
A: Unlike most tarot companies, we offer free fertility rechecks if the month prediction given for conception doesn't come to be. Please note that your prediction covers a 2 year period from either the date you had your reading, or the date you begin trying if you weren't trying at the time of the reading. However, the month must have fully passed and a new cycle have begun following the end of the predicted month. For example, if it is predicted that the month of May will be successful for you, but your period arrives on the 28th of May, you wouldn't be eligible for a recheck until the following cycle. This is because when we predict a month, it can cover: literal conception, BFP, or the beginning of the cycle which leads to a BFP. Therefore if your period starts on the 28th of May and you conceive that cycle, this actually still falls under a May prediction because that's when the cycle began. However, if your period started on the 1st of June, May has full passed and you have started a new cycle, therefore you would be eligible for a free recheck. You may only claim a free recheck if you paid for your previous reading. I.e., if you won your reading, a free recheck would not apply. Any fully trained employee of Emerald Sun Tarot Limited may complete your recheck, it is not guaranteed that you will get a specific reader.
